COCOA Brevard County issued the following news release:
The Central Area of Brevard County Parks and Recreation will host a Community Campout at F. Burton Smith Park, 7575 West Highway 520, in west Cocoa, beginning Friday, May 1 at 5 p.m. and concluding Saturday, May 2 at 9 a.m.
Parks and Recreation staff will organize activities including crafts, hayrides, naturerelated programs, campfire songs and smores. Early risers can participate in a guided birding adventure on Saturday morning. Breakfast with juice and donuts will conclude the program.
The cost to participate is $30 for up to four family members. Families should bring their own tents.
